Computer Education And Instructional Technology
Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology’s main objective as a 4-year undergraduate program is to train our students as successful teachers, instructional designers, educational software developers and computer-assisted learning experts. In our department, evening education is provided as well.
While many of our graduates have been appointed to primary and secondary schools as computer teachers, some of our graduates have worked as research assistants at various universities and some in various companies as web design software developers and programming development experts. Our students are also expected to obtain similar positions for the future easily as they are equipped with knowledge and skills related to the use of technology in a variety of platform in their four year education.
The courses taught in our department are Information Technology in Education, Programming Languages, Use of Instructional Material, Foundations of Computer Aided Education, Operating Systems, PC Environment Software Languages Applications, Foundations of Distance Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology and Material Development, Internet Environment Software Languages Applications, Computer Networks and Communications, Internet Applications in Education.
Restructuring of universities and high-school teacher training school in the Department of Educational Sciences was opened on 15 October 1982 converting. 1990 up to was given lessons teaching profession that taught in other departments. From the academic year 1990-1991 in the "Guidance and Counseling" program at graduate level education began opening. 1 and 2 Continuing education program in teaching about 500 students.

Fine Arts Education
Faculty of Fine Arts, with the departments of Visual Communication Design, Painting and Ceramics – Glass, aims to educate young artists/designers who are sensitive to technological and social change, creative, critical thinkers and who have adopted their own culture. In 2015 it is planned to open the Department of Industrial Design. Our department will continue to find the resources necessary to educate researchers, educators,.professional artists / designers in the discipline our students choose.
The philosophy of Faculty of Fine Arts is to provide extensive knowledge for our students, combining cultural and historical heritage of our country with the artistic creativity. Multi-disciplinary nature of our faculty, make it possible for our students and graduates to compete at international level. Another objective of the Faculty of Fine Arts is to improve the vision of education through exchange programs for students / academics.
Science And Mathematics Education
Programs offered by the department are all four year long undergraduate programs and they are offered as day time education. Students are aimed to graduate as teachers to adopt modern teaching and learning approaches which play an important role in the acquisition of the knowledge and skills related to their field by the students of the relevant age group.

Department of Special Education was established in 2001-2002 academic year. It has three teacher education programs: Educatıon of Hearing Impaired, Education of the Mentally Disabled and Special Education.
Turkish and Social Sciences Education
The primary objective of the Department of Turkish and Social Sciences Education of the Education Faculty is to train modern, democratic, confident and productive language teachers with vision, who will value science and research, be sensitive to and capable of solving national as well as global problems, and adaptive to changing situations.
Primary Teacher Education Department offers a four-year program and trains students for becoming equipped and skilled elementary school teachers.
Foreign Languages Education
The Department of Foreign Language Education consists of three divisions; English Languge Teaching, German Language Teaching and French Language Teaching.
The aim of this program, that started in 1982, is to educate competent teachers of English, German and French languages who will work in public or private primary and secondary schools of the Ministry of National Education by equipping them with the special field, general knowledge and pedagogic knowledge required for the profession of teaching after a year of preparatory education. Our students can also be employed in fields such as translation, international trade and tourism. Our department currently has postgraduate programs in English and French language teaching and postgraduate and doctorate programs in German language teaching.
