He was born in Samsun in 1962. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education in Samsun, he completed his undergraduate studies in Turkish Language and Literature at Ankara University, Faculty of Language, History and Geography. He completed his Master's degree at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University. After graduation, he worked as a Literature Teacher at Çarşamba Religious High School from 1991 to 1993, a Turkish Language Instructor at Yüzüncü Yıl University from 1993 to 1994, a Research Assistant/Rectorate Private Secretary at Yüzüncü Yıl University from 1994 to 1996, a Turkish Language Instructor at Karadeniz Technical University from 1996 to 1998, a Turkish Language Instructor at Ondokuz Mayıs University from 1998 to 2007, the Founding Principal of Samsun Anafartalar High School from 2007 to 2010, Acting District Branch Manager of İlkadım from 2010 to 2010, and a Turkish Language Instructor at Ondokuz Mayıs University from 2010 to 2014. Tevfik Yılmaz DEMİR, who has authored the Turkish Language Textbook (Common Courses, Commission), Can Damlaları (Stories), Column Articles (Essays), served as editor of the Bütünşehir Magazine, and has numerous articles and papers, and currently serves as the Faculty Secretary of the OMÜ Faculty of Education, is married and has 3 children.
